Support Enactus Chapters at NSCC
Enactus is a network of student leaders focused on applying innovation and business skills to create meaningful solutions to complex social, environmental, and cultural issues in the community. Enactus is active and making impacts in our communities and around the world at the eCampus, Ivany, Pictou, Strait Area, Sydney Waterfront and Truro Campuses.
Donations support students with costs like project materials, promotional materials and travel for pitch competitions.
Examples of projects include:
eCampus Enactus’ Happiness Now
An international initiative supporting Tanzanian women and youth through entrepreneurial education and empowerment, gender equality and improved community health and environmental outcomes.
Truro Enactus’ Wednesday Night Dinner Project
An initiative where students can purchase affordable meal kits which include ingredients for a hearty meal and instructions on how to make it at home.
Ivany Enactus’ Cap Cycle
A project that diverts plastic bottle caps from our waste stream, transforming them into plastic sheets which can be used to 3D print products.
