Support Students
NSCC Kingstec’s Free Market is a service provided by the Student Association that offers professional, employment-ready clothing to students in all programs for their work placements, job interviews, and more. The Free Market includes the Student Food Bank as well, which provides food to supplement the kitchens of students. It also offers binders, shoes, ties, feminine hygiene products, and other miscellaneous items. Everything within the Free Market is completely free of charge to all Kingstec students.
The Free Market initiative was originally founded in 2006 by a student in the Business Administration – Financial Services program at the time. It was originally known as “Students in Style” and was inherited by the Student Association. It has since grown to include the student food bank and was re-launched in 2018 as the Free Market.
The Kingstec Free Market is accepting donations of non-perishable and freezable food items, and of clothing items, including (but not limited to) business attire, scrubs, jeans, and steel toe boots.
